I am finally feel like once again I am living up to the meaning of my name. Friends call me Thor for short. Thora is the female version of Thor; the god of thunder & war. He protected people of the land.

Thora is the name of St Magnus’ mother. This magnificent cathedral in Kirkwall, Orkney was built in honour of him.

I am proud to be Scottish, I am even more proud to be Orcadian but more importantly I am proud to be Thor 💪⚒️

I have my hammer 🔨 back. For how long I don’t know. I am thankful. I will embrace it for as long as it lasts.

My grit & determination is once again paying off.

As I write this tears are rolling down my cheeks. Periods like this as a chronically ill person are beautiful & rare. Just like diamonds 💎
