Regrets, I’ve had a few…

When you are an insomniac it gives you extra time to reflect.

I am an overthinker. I analyse each and every minute detail of my day. If I run out I simply find something from my past to examine.

There are things that I regret. I have acted on some of them.

Some of them I can fix, some I can’t and that is OK.

The important thing is not to dwell on these regrets. Like any feeling you must acknowledge, release and move on from it.

We all have regrets, they all aren’t meant to be fixed. They are lessons, to make us better people.

Don’t regret the things that you have done. Regret the things you haven’t.

“If you live long enough, you’ll make mistakes. But if you learn from them, you’ll be a better person. It’s how you handle adversity, not how it affects you. The main thing is never quit, never quit, never quit.”

William J Clinton

Regrets, I’ve had a few
But then again too few to mention
I did what I had to do
I saw it through without exemption
I planned each charted course
Each careful step along the byway
And more, much, much more
I did it, I did it my way
