Fulfilment

Fulfilment-Box

There are many things I do to try and make me feel fulfilled. Losing my job has left a big hole. So I have tried to find coping mechanisms to help me fill the hole. One of the first things I did was take up Roller Derby, I’d always loved roller skating so I thought I would give it a go. I get a real adrenaline boost from the exercise which is almost addictive. Another bonus is that it has helped tone my body up.

I help out in reception at Citizen’s Advice one afternoon a week.

I finally signed up for some proper driving lessons – which I enjoy.  Every time I have completed a lesson or been out for a drive in the car with my husband I think “Why the bloody hell did I not pull my finger out sooner?”

I do way too much online shopping for clothes and tat that I just don’t need. I have started getting a facial and my nails done about once a month. I get my hair coloured every 8 weeks or so by THE best hairdresser she has got it to exactly the colour that I wanted.

But STILL none of the above is enough to fill the hole my job left.
