Hi, I’m Candace D. AKA @diaryofasickgrl 💛

I had seemingly random health issues basically my whole life until I got “the big sick” in 2020 and was diagnosed with hEDS, MCAS, POTS, and Raynauds in April 2020.

At first I turned to friends and family to talk about what was going on and quickly realized I needed a better outlet! I found #NEISvoid on Twitter! BIG, BIG thank you to @bennessb for creating it. I have made so many wonderful friends and have had many informative chats there. I want to continue to raise awareness and stop the stigma surrounding chronic illness and disability.
