Foggy Day in Kirkwall Town // Weather matching my mood today

Foggy Day (London Town), Frank Sinatra

A foggy day in Kirkwall Town. The weather is mirroring my mood today it seems. There is something that I like about a foggy day. It makes the world seem calm and less noisy, less overwhelming. I don’t know why.

A foggy day
In London town
It had me low
And it had me down
I viewed the morning with much alarm
The British Museum had lost its charmHow long, I wondered
Could this thing last?
But the age of miracles had never pastFor suddenly
I saw you standing right there
And in foggy London town
The sun was shining, shining, shining everywhereA foggy day
Back in London town
It had me low
And it also had me downI viewed the morning with much alarm
And the British Museum had lost its charmHow long, I wondered
Could this thing last?
But the age of miracles
It hadn’t pastAnd suddenly I saw you standing right there
And in foggy London town
The sun was shining, shining, shining
Everywhere
Here and there
Everywhere
